Chip Barrett is a senior executive at the Eden Corporation. He is a strict father who expects his two sons Jack (17) and Troy (15) to conform to his own high standards of perfection. His rebellious younger son is the cause of much tension within the family, and when Mr. Barrett decides that they should all move to the small town of Paradise, where the Eden Corporation is located, strange things begin to happen. At the new house in Paradise, Jack wakes several times in the night to see his brother Troy being carried down into the basement of their house by a mysterious stranger. When Jack’s grandmother tries to leave Paradise, she is stopped and nearly killed by an electric barrier which prevents people from leaving the village. What is happening?
